Someone posted about a marvelous blog game to play that involves "Paying it Forward".
Here’s How It Works: I’ll send a surprise gift to the first three commenters on
this blog post. The gift will be a handmade surprise by me and will be
sent to you some time in the next 365 days - both the gift and the time
you receive it will be a surprise :)
Here’s what you need to do, leave me a comment and make sure
you include your email address (if your profile doesn’t include it).
I’ll email you for your snail mail address and a ask a few questions
(likes/dislikes, favourite colours, etc.).
To complete signing up you MUST play along too. To do this
you must blog a similar post and pledge to make a surprise gift for the
first three people who comment on it.
So, do you want to play? Comment below and I’ll sent a thoughtful handmade gift to the first three people who do.
I know I have been
away for quite awhile but It has just been too hot to do anything. Our dear old house has no air! I have been sitting under a fan reading a book for the last month. I have been feeling guilty and as I have found a few more treasures in the last few weeks I am posting a few pictures taken at the beginning of July. I have been keeping up my other blog Crosstown. You can view it here: Crosstown Blog
These are my July thrift store finds:
jars, book marks and candle box
Detail on the square jar and the round one is an Ermetico
I found these 3 glass balls at a garage Sale on our way home on the weekend. I don't know what they are but they were 50¢ each and so pretty and sparkly I scooped them up. They are about 4" in diameter and have a one hole. They remind me of float balls. I wonder if they came off a light fixture. Anyone know?
